Called


The 12 stories journey

He sits anxious as we

await Starstruck

as the tattered soul

weeps arms folded

enstranged

confused

and angry

Coffee stained tears

blackened like his coffee

he stands up

pushing his chair back

then takes that Step

these are

all he has left

this journey and these steps

he doesn't even feel

there there

he's gone; staring like the corpse

he wish he was

if only

for that second

there was what he needed

the care and compassion

the heart and a

real soul

not something darkened black

just a thought or a dream

never known

as he took his plunge
